Summary: This machine rocks!
Comment: I used a Kitchen Aid for 10 years, but had outgrown it (I have four boys who aren't even teenagers yet). I had the option of upgrading from my 5 qt model to a 6 qt model, but after reading and talking to friends, I decided to switch over to the Bosch.

I watched eBay for several weeks and ended up paying $230 for it. I installed it myself and it is just wonderful. I did have to give up a drawer, but that is a small price to pay IMHO.

With the stainless steel cover over it, I don't even notice it and it gets stuff piled on it just like the rest of the counters. People have come over and not even noticed it. I have since purchased the food processor and blender. I am very pleased with this machine. I envision many years of happy use.

Great new built-in mixer with a wide range of applications and attachments. The top is almost flush and the mounting depth is only 4-3/4 inches. Powerful 700 Watt motor with 'soft-start' is electronically controlled. With this bowl you can knead large batches of dough or whip one egg white. Operation is easy with the 4 in 1 drive. All attachments lock into place on the same drive, so they're very stable. Easy to clean. Noticeable quieter than countertop kitchen machines. Maximize your countertop workspace with the stainless steel cover when not in use. Uses all of the same attachments that fit the Concept 7 countertop mixer.
