Comment: I ordered this for my son's 2nd birthday party and am so glad I did. I've never attempted decorating a shaped cake before, so I was a little nervous, but my sister convinced me that between the two of us we could do it. She was right, and the cake could not have looked better had it been done by a professional. Wilton included step-by-step directions on the back on the paper insert and it took a few hours, but it came out great. Maybe a little too great - my 2 year old refused to eat any of it! I would rate it a great cake for beginners; it has 4 different icing colors and we only used 2 tips.

Summary: Great pan, worth buying new.
Comment: I searched high and low for this cake pan. Sometimes party supply or craft shops like Party City or Michaels carry these, but none of mine did. I looked on Ebay for a used one, but even those were selling (after shipping) for more than a new one on Amazon. I did also buy some diapers so I would get the free Amazon super saver shipping. I freaked out a bit over the cake possibly sticking and oversprayed the pan with Pam, which made the flour stick more. Might be worth the couple $'s to buy the wilton pan spray and not have to worry about sticking. Otherwise the cake came out great. I made a sheet pan cake as well and placed the Elmo face on top of the sheet pan cake since we had a lot of party guests.
