Customer Rating: Summary: Great Product Comment: I couldn't be happier with this product. It is a great pressure cooker at a good price. The quality has been very good and I have had no problems with this unit in over 1 year. I recommend this to anyone.
Customer Rating: Summary: The Best Pressure Cooker On The Market Comment: We have been using the Presto Pressure cookers for over 50 years and have found them to be as good as they get. The aluminum models are less expensive than stainless steel, cook just as well, and last just as long.
Pressure cooking is simple, safe, and a real time saver. Try it...you'll like it. Just follow the directions.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great value for the price Comment: I purchased this for canning pint jars and smaller and it's perfect for small batches. I've had a Presto stainless steel cooker for over 30 years and it's been wonderful. While the aluminum cooker is more lightweight, so far it's been great and very easy to use.
Customer Rating: Summary: Pressure Cooker Comment: The product(pressure cooker) works fine. It saves a lot of cooking time and seals the flavor in. You can't beat it for cooking steaks. No matter how tough the steak is, it always comes out tender. If you are not familiar with pressure cookers, you should try one. The directions are simple and easy to follow. I purchased the 8-quart size, but there are smaller sizes. I'm only familiar with the Presto brand, but there are other brands that I'm sure works just as well. So give it a try. You will be glad you did.
Customer Rating: Summary: Buy the stainless steel version Comment: I absolutely love how food turns out in the pressure cooker. I made the best pot roast I have ever had in my life in this cooker. The only drawback is that aluminum leaves a bad aftertaste in acidy foods such as tomato sauces. If I had realized this before, I would have paid the extra money to get the stainless steel one.
