Comment: Air circulator is a true description. A little noisy but the most effective fan I have yet owned. We turn the air conditioner at it lowest setting and we are more comfortable than ever. On a cool evening it exchanges the cooler outdoor air with the warmer indoor in a short amount of time. We will purchase additional units for our two sons. Customer Rating: Summary: Great Fan Comment: I had one of these fans many years ago. This model does not seem as powerful on the highest speed but appears to be the same on the slowest. This fan is significantly more powerful than other fans that look similar. I like the sound it makes - resembles a low-revving single engine aircraft. I use it mostly to aerate the room which means leaving it switched on for just a few minutes. Highly reccommended. When you first turn it on, it does get less loud then it gets louder. Last night, it had been running for 2 hours, at 2 am. I woke up, it was on fire and my room was full of smoke.
