Comment: I gave this puppy a test run the firat day i owned it. At 8pm I made a full kettle of hot tea, depositing most of it into the Thermos. I drank it throughout the next day, and at 5pm it was still sufficiently hot I had to sip it. Virtually no loss in heat whasoever. I have yet to try it for cold liquids, but that is not what I bought it for. I opened it five or six times across the 21-hour period over which it held the tea, and this did not cause any issue with heat retention. Great product, best thermos I have ever had. Goes particularly well with the Thermos Nissan 12oz. travel tea mug I bought. These guys really know their stuff.

Summary: Great thermos
Comment: I originally bought this thermos to bring protein shakes to work. The thermos did keeps the shakes really cold for hours but the smoothie would separate very quickly and would lose flavor (not the fault of the thermos). So now I pretty much use it for milk, which it does keep cold all day. Thermos seals very well, so well, it's often hard for me to unscrew the cap because of the suction ( I have to enlist the help of a coworker), but this does prevent leaks. It is hard to clean inside though without a bottle brush. The milk gets stuck on the bottom and it's hard to get inside there. I guess rinsing the thermos soon after use would prevent this. The thermos is very sturdy and attractive. It was a great purchase for an even better price.

Comment: This thermal bottles keeps the water HOT after 12 hours. It is still warm after almost 2 days. 34 oz is not big enough for me, but the size of the bottle is good.

Comment: This is a great thermos that I have been using pretty much daily. I originally bought it due to not drinking enough water so I wanted to drink more on my way to work. Though did not want to deal with either taking my own glass, or a disposable one in the car, and also worry about it spilling. So I looked around and bought this one from amazon.
Its stainless steel and has been dropped a few times by me but still no noticeable dents or scratches. The top unscrews and can be used as a cup but I tend to just drink straight from the thermos itself. Then inside you have a plastic and rubber thing that screws in and creates the vacuum seal.
For keeping things cool, it works amazing. I filled it up with the water I keep in my fridge. Went to the park and walked around. After about 3 or 4 hours of it sitting in my car, in the sun, in mid summer in hot Florida the water inside was still just as cool as if I had pulled it out of the fridge. It seems to keep temperature about 24 hours give or take.
I have not tried anything hot as I pretty much just drink cold drinks, and don't eat soups.
I have used it to grab some water for on the way to work, put something in it for trips as well and also fill it up at stops on trips so that I have something in the car. Have even used it to drink out of at home sometimes as it holds a decent amount and keeps things cool even when you have unscrewed the top.
Currently I'm thinking of buying the larger model just for when I go play basketball so I have more water to drink afterward. This model is for drinking liquids on a normal pace. Though I will continue to use this one as well as it works so great and looks so nice.
My only issue I ever had with it is my own stupidity. There have been a couple of times I forgot to screw in the plastic/rubber stopper and just screwed on the metal cup lid. While nothing came out when the cup was on due to it having a great seal as well, when I opened it there was some water that came out. Though this is just from me being stupid and not putting in the stopper screw. So more of a warning to people of what not to do.
I would recommend anybody getting this as you can use it no matter if just drive to work every day, go on trips, or even stay around the house.

Summary: Amazing product
Comment: I was a bit skeptical of their temperature preservation claims but I just needed something to keep my coffee drinkable through my first break at work. Much to my surprise the coffee came out steaming hot several hours after I sealed it in there. For my coffee to still be disfiguringly hot after so much time had passed was amazing. Definitely get this thermos over any others.
