Summary: Won't be nonstick for long
Comment: These pots and pans got scratches the first time I used them! I was really excited and I read all of the information about how to use and care for them. The first time I cooked with them, they got scratches (and the teflon started coming off) even though I used only plastic and wood spoons. I also didn't use abrasive sponges or harsh cleaning chemicals. Beware: these won't be nonstick for long.
I returned them for the Farberware Millenium Stainless Steel set and I love them!

Comment: I've had this set for a year and a half now and I think they are great, especially for the price. (But I got them on sale for half off!) Absolutely nothing sticks to the nonstick interiors and the surface coating has been very durable, no scratches or chips. My only problem is that the color darkened on the the pieces I have tended to use more often. But this isn't really a big issue since otherwise they have far exceeded my expectations.

Summary: Lightweight, Durable, Easy Clean
Comment: I have has this set for 3 months now. I am very happy with it. The selling feature for me was the strain and pour feature of the glass lids. I opted for this set over the more expensive, heavier set because of this feature and so far - no regrets. I follow the provided use and care instructions and have had nothing but easy prep and easy clean up. Love the RED!!!

Summary: lid handles come off - no warranty
Comment: The handle came off one of the lids after minimal use (once or twice). I sent it back for repair and imagine my surprise when it was returned almost immediately - UNFIXED! Along with a letter explaining that these are sold with no warranty. Had I realized that, I likely would not have bought them. The "Farberware's Quality Assurance warranty" referred to in the product description only means anything found defective UPON RECEIPT will be replaced.

Summary: Discolored Pots
Comment: My husband and I recieved this set for christmas from my Mother-in-law. We loved them! She got us the Silver colored set that matched everything in out kitchen. We use them everyday and LOVED cooking on them for 6 months now. A couple days ago I was making brocolli and the teflon came off onto my brocolli and the silver turned to a brownish color. I had the setting on medium heat. Nothing extream and the pot sill had water boiling in the pot so nothing was burning... My husband was convinced that I had burned the brocolli so decided to just replace the pan. Then We were making hash browns in the skillet and the outside of the skillet turned brown. Nothing I do washes the color out. It looks aweful! The teflon is in tact but the skillet looks like crap. From now on we are buying stainless steel pan exclusivly. We will never try aluminum again!
