We use pressure cooker quite a lot and this is one of the best designs I have seen so far for the price. It relatively quieter compared to many models and we particularly liked the safe and quick releasing the steam after cooking.
but...
it does not have a sturdy handle...sharted to shake after using a few times. It needs constant tightening of the handle using a screw driver. It is not a serious issue. I have a presto pressure cooker which has a sturdier handle than manttra and never had this problem.

Comment: I have owned this product for 5 years now. I broke the small handle by mistake and the company fixed it at no charge and sent me back a fresh piece (paid only the shipping cost to their US service center). It cleans up nicely and is still going strong. We use it daily for rice, lentils, stews and meats.

I make chicken soup in twn minutes!
Its a nice small size that doubles as a really nice saute pan. I made pot roast in under 45 minutes the other day and it was perfect. The book has some recipes - but they are not enough... I found hundreds more pressure cooker recipes online.
I had originally bought the electric cooker from the same manufacturer. That was nice - but too bulky for my tiny kitchen.
