Summary: Better than expected
Comment: After reading the other reviews, I was a little concerned in ordering the cookware. I was pleasantly surprised.

The surface is not exactly as smooth as the previous set of Revereware I owned, but all in all, the cookware was well worth the money.

Summary: I should have listened.
Comment: I read the reviews of this item and still chose to buy it. Boy, am I sorry! I knew the second I picked the box up off my front porch that this was NOT the quality cookware I was expecting. When I opened the box and picked up each piece I wanted to cry. This is NOT the Revere Ware my father had. This is tinny-feeling junk. It is made from such cheap-feeling, weak materials, you can buckle it in with your bare hands by pressing the sides together. Drop it once & the whole thing would practically fold in half & the lids would never fit again. Save your money, hit the thrift stores (and maybe even ebay) and put together your set piece by piece. I returned this to the shipper (the first time I've ever had to return something I bought on Amazon) and I'm hoping I get my money back. I'll update my review if I do. I was very disappointed with this purchase.

Comment: I bought this set as a gift for my daughter. I own a lot of Revere pans and, after many years of marriage it's still as good as the day I first used it. My daughter is very happy with hers. An excellent basic kitchen set that is sturdy, easy to clean, and is at an affordable price.

Comment: title says it all. Personally i didn't want non -stick-pan as it is unhealthy. The pans are great! clean up nicely and cook even better, as I said, "just like Mom had.." and she still uses them after 48 years of marrage

Summary: Great set of cookware!
Comment: We started with Revere Ware pans years ago (and were very happy with them), and over the years as we needed addtional pans we have tried other cookware sets just to compare. While some other sets are good, there was always something we didn't like. For example, some other brands have hollow handles which fill with water in the dishwasher which drips all over you when you take them out. Other brands of pans just didn't seem as handy. We came back to Revere Ware when we bought this set, as the copper bottom pans work great for us on the stove top. The pan handles (which most people don't think about) are wonderful, and do not overheat or fill with water. This particular set includes a nice variety of pans, in handy sizes, and my wife was especially excited about the handy 3-bowl set, which matched. The only way this product could be improved, is if they could offer glass lids -- which some other brands do (but don't change the lid handle), so you can see what is cooking. But this is a GREAT product for home use, I readily recommend it.
