Summary: Ok product for your money
Comment: If you purchase these pans there are some things to be aware of. The larger sauce pan lid did not fit the pan properly leaving gaps. The small sauce pan was heavier than most of the larger pans. Also the handles and lids got very hot. There is no safe way to hold the handles without a hot pad. Something I have always been able to do with my other pans. I have used these pans for a few weeks now, they cook evenly and the clean up is a breeze. If you are a first time buyer, you get a good product for your money. If you are looking to expand your cookware, this isn't for you. I really have enjoyed cooking with the frying pan and the stock pot except for the things I mentioned. Hope this helps anyone looking to buy.

Summary: Very disapointed
Comment: Thought this would be a good deal, 3 pots and 1 pan for $50. When they arrived, the pots were all mis-shaped, none of the lids fit, and the pan was well scratched. Clearly, this was not a good investment, and was returned as quickly as it was recieved.

Comment: I received my cookware very quickly and I love it! I'm not a gourmet chef or anything, but I do cook 4 to 5 times a week. There is nothing like having a good set of tools to work with in the kitchen and Amazon did not disappoint on these. The set is sturdy and attractive, and easy to clean up. I think if I keep it away from metal scrubbers and cooking utensils, the set will last a long time. This set can also be used in the oven by removing the rubber grips from the handles--fabulous!

Comment: This set was disappointing. Both saucepans and the skillet were badly damaged, as if the box were dropped on end from the top of a building. The stock pot and lids are lightweight, flimsier than I expected. And because all of them were to some degree oval instead of round, none of the lids fit properly. Several of the pots and lids also had minor cosmetic flaws in finish and/or small scratches.
This seemed like a set of "seconds" quality, and since I wasn't willing to risk another set in the same condition, sent them back for a refund. Overall, I decided that it would be better to go shopping in a store where I could check the set for flaws or damage, pick them up, see how they feel. For the money, not such a great deal.

Summary: Amazing Set of Pans
Comment: We were shopping for a good set of cookware for a good price. The problem is that reasonably priced sets tend to be junk and/or have some lid gimmick making them impossible to clean. They also tend to have some weird size saucepan or tiny stockpot that forces you to spend more money and your stuck with a piece you don't need.

This Nordicware set is the ultimate minimalist set. Only the things you need, perfectly constructed. The pans are thick aluminum and super-slick. We have experienced no warping or flaking non-stick. We even abuse these pans by putting them in the diswasher. The rubber handle covering can be slid off for placement in the oven. I couldn't find anything indicating the oven-safe temperature, but my guess is 350F is safe.

The only complaint I could come up with is he lack of a 12" skillet. Fortunately, I already have a nice skillet and no need for a second.

It looks like the price has shot-up since I purchased this set.
