Comment: I bought this pan in the hopes of making great scones. But what's better is, not only are the scones perfect coming out of this pan (and they're a perfect size for 3 - 4 bites, not a whole scone or muffin!!) but I've made more muffin mixes and made them in this pan because the result is always perfect! Nice and browned on the bottom and sides, and wonderfully cooked through! I'm thrilled with this pan!! It's worth the little extra money!!!!

Summary: Use with any quickbread or biscuit recipe!
Comment: I have used this pan for scones, muffins, corncakes, banana bread, baking powder biscuits, brownies. Nonstick coating is great; I put the batter straight in without greasing. After baking, I just give the pan a horizontal jiggle, and then just turn the pan over the cooling rack because the baked goods pop right out! You get perfectly proportioned, professional looking results every time.

Summary: Not just for scones!
Comment: I bought this on a whim because it looked like it would make "cute" scones. Well, it makes cute scones and it also makes cute brownies, corn bread and other cute sweet treats. The brownies had to be "nudged" out, but they were still perfect. The corn muffins and scones popped right out. My only complaint is that the pan did not come with any recipes, so I always seemt to have a few empty compartments, and Nordic Ware's web site does not even showcase this pan, let alone provide a receipe. However, enterprising cooks will figure out the right proportion of batter to make. This is a lovely little pan.
