Comment: This item is worthless as an apple slicer, it is to small for the apples to pass through.it was a waste of money. It might work to slice potatos if they are very small. I don't know I bought it to slice apples and it doesn't work.

Comment: I don't usually write a bad review but I have to in this case.
This broke on the very first potato I put in it. I never did get a single french fry out of it. I then purchased the Progressive cutter which cost less from Amazon and it worked great.
