Summary: Good product at a good price!
Comment: Overall, this blender looks nice and works well. The heavy-duty motor does a quick job of chopping ice...and practically anything else! The glass pitcher is heavy, which is good (it's solid and well-balanced) and bad (when filled, it's more likely to be dropped). One minor complaint: as other reviewers have mentioned, the motor smells like burnt insulation after initial use...hopefully, that will wear off as the blender gets used more.

Comment: This blender does all I need without the extra buttons that break quickly and are rarely used. The jar is a nice, heavy duty glass. The blender comes apart easily for cleaning. Felt it is a good buy overall.

Summary: Works great for our family!
Comment: We purchased this blender a couple of months ago. My son is constantly making milk shakes and my husband and I make margaritas in it. It has worked perfectly every time. Since we leave it on the counter the look was important, this one looks very nice.

Summary: Love it or Loathe it
Comment: I bought this blender at Macys on sale about $50. Did have trouble on 2nd use-always keep receipts and warrantys. Warranty replaced unit (now I have 2 glass containers - many mixed drinks) and no problems yet - still have about 2 1/2 yrs left on warranty. I do like the ice crusher componet as my refrig is old fashion and has no built ins. Sounds like a Love it or loathe it mixer having read the various reviews but I think this can be said of many counter-top blenders..
