Customer Rating: Summary: Review of Utensil Comment: I think this was a great product. I have been using it extensively since I bought it. Works great whether flipping eggs, stirring stews, or just about anything. I think it is well worth it.
Customer Rating: Summary: great spatula Comment: functional, well designed, attractive. Nice spatula, siliconized to protects pans. Nicely weighted handle, sturdy, not flimsy. This company makes a great, safe pressure cooker, too. Swiss design: clean, European styling, & well made.
Customer Rating: Summary: Hardly used and tip already decaying. Comment: Just got this and has only been used a handful of times. I don't think I used this under particularly high heat, but front tip of spatula is already breaking down/melting. Nice shape though. Wish someone would make nonstick that was truly heat resistance.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great tool Comment: I could not tell from the picture that this item is slightly curved at the top (above the horizontal bar). There is nothing wrong with that but if you want a spatula that is 100% straight, you won't want to purchase this one. I like it!
Customer Rating: Summary: The best spatula ever! Comment: It is the best spatula that I have ever used even though it is made in China. However, Kuhn Rikon is a Swiss company and a label on the spatula says Kuhn Rikon Switzerland. I used to buy Rosle utensils and other kitchen accessories until I discovered that Rosle moved its manufacturing to China. It is also hard to decipher Rosle labels to find out where a particular item was manufactured. On this spatula, the label Made in China was stuck on to the handle and it was easy to remove.
I would not have purchased this spatula if I knew that it was made in China, but then I would have missed on the opportunity to test it. It is flexible but not too flexible, just right for lifting heavier pieces of food without dropping them back into a skillet or on to a cooktop or somewhere else. It is well designed. The handle is very comfortable. Now it is the most used spatula in my kitchen.
