Comment: I wanted a blender that would allow me to quickly and conveniently make iced coffee and juice drinks. This blender is powerful. It is also easy to clean. It is a small enough size to fit on my limited counter space.

Comment: Love this blender. It's fast and blends ice really well. I like the fact that the glass jug fits into a square base so that it can't accidently spin loose and the base is weighted so it doesn't vibrate around on the counter.

I only make frozen fruit smoothies really, and this guy blends it MUCH better than the OSTER we got. that one was poorly built. This Braun is SOLID.

Comment: despite negative reviews, because of favorable consumer reports rating we bought it, and regret it. On its first use trying to liquify watermelon pulp the gasket broke. It was a major effort to get proctor and gamble, the parent company to agree to refund our $42 rather than replace a product which is doomed
