Anyone who irons often can benefit from having this product on hand. I don't have to use it often, only when I inadvertently burn something and it sticks to the bottom of my iron, making it unusable. How great it is to be able to reach for this fantastic iron cleaner. In just a minute the problem is solved and the bottom plate of my iron is as good as new. This product has never failed to clean my iron well.

Comment: A must if you iron - it gets the gunk off of the soleplate with no residue. It is pretty much a one-trick pony, but its one trick is impressive.

Comment: This is a hard to find gem. It is NOT to be used on irons with a Teflon coatings. It works perfectly on my iron and restores it to a clean, slick finish, making ironing a pleasure.

Comment: Something you never think you will need in this day and age but luckily it is still available. My son completely melted a shirt to my iron (or is it the other way around??) and no matter what i tried, the sticky goo would not come off. I looked in every store imaginable trying to find something to clean it and could not find anything worthy of this mess. Finally, i saw this product and remembered the brand name from when my granny used to use the Faultless spray starch whenever she ironed. I wasn't hoping for much when i received this itsy bitsy tube but i have to admit i was absolutely impressed with the way this stuff just dissolved the sticky, gooey mess on my iron. Now it looks and irons just like a brand new one. I have even reordered just to keep it on hand since the little devils are so hard to find. I highly suggest it for all the little 'oops' you can have with just 2 seconds too long with the iron on delicate clothes. It's either that, or iron my son's clothes myself and that alone makes this item priceless.

Comment: Followed the directions to the tee. This cleaner removed a lot of the teflon coating on the actual iron but didn't remove all of he burnt on crap. The coating is important. It keeps the hot metal from sticking to your clothes and damaging the material. Now I have to buy a new iron.
