Summary: Don't buy it! problem only comes after months of use!!
Comment: Bought mine a year ago from JCPenny. It was just as good and impressive as those 5 star reviews here. After one year of use, the problem of 1 star reviews come to me. Regret that I didn't check online review before I bought it. My previous 20 bucks no name one lasted 9 years and is still going strong. This one is a piece of crap that is well timed to ruin your day sometime later. Please DO NOT buy it!!

Summary: AWFUL! JUST AWFUL! RIPOFF GALORE
Comment: This is the first time I have used this iron. I bought it for my summer house, awaiting the occasion when I might need an iron. Well, so, I'm on vacation and thought it might be really special to iron my sheets after washing and drying them. Hard could THAT be? Make the beds look really pretty! I turn on the iron, and pick it up and notice the red auto-shut off light is blinking. I do everything. Empty out the water. Adjust the dial. Pull out the plug. Plug it back in. When I disconnect it, then reconnect the plug, it works for 20 seconds or so, then decides to go on auto-off again. Wow. Iron is a year old. So warranty no longer valid. I HATE THIS! One more rip-off from another big corporation. DOESN'T ANY PRODUCT EVER WORK ANYMORE?????? What is happening to American businesses and corporations standing behind their products. Today you have to pay to guarantee that your product should do what it is supposed to do and what you paid to have it do. I'm mad as hell and don't want to take it anymore! It isn't that I can't afford the goldarned $49.95, but the inconvenience of either ordering a new one or going back to get another one that also will not work. So why was I so stupid in the first place not to buy perma-press sheets. I thought they all were permapress these days. I'm screwed.

Summary: disappointing
Comment: After one and a half years of using this steam iron approximately once a month for two hours it started to drip brown spots on the garments. Something's definitely rusting inside and I swear I've always emptied it after use and let it air dry on the countertop before storing away. Now all of a sudden the Auto-off comes on every Minute after plugging it in and I learn from other reviews, that that's a common problem. How annoying! Of course there's no warranty on the iron anymore. I would have lived with the missing lid for the opening to fill in water and I would have lived with the unconvenient cord, but the price was definitely too high for something that stops working after such short time. I'll definitely stay away from products made in China and rather go for something produced someplace in Europe.

Summary: Not bad
Comment: Good iron, holds lots of water and is easily filled and produces lots of steam. Bad point is that the temp. dial is easily turned by mistake. I have ironed with this twice so far and both times I accidently changed the setting two or three times during the ironing session. If you glance it with your finger it will move and it is located in a spot that is easy to come into contact with when handling the iron. Aside from that, it appears to be a good iron thus far.

Comment: This is the best iron I have ever owned. Even my husband irons his own shirts. Ironing is still a chore, but it's pleasurable now.
