Comment: I liked the look of Oneida's Satin Cantata flatware online, but I was floored when it came -- it is gorgeous. The feel of it also is of high quality...so smooth and rather heavy. This will dress up our Thanksgiving table this year! By shopping around, we found the best price on Amazon. The SATIN (brushed) version appears to be about to be discontinued, as even on Oneida.com it has very limited pieces. The SHINY is available in abundance, though. If you're thinking of buying the satin, do it now!!

Comment: The Oneida Satin Cantata 65-piece service for 12 is just wonderful. It matches my old set of Oneida silverware almost perfectly. I have used this silverware for 40 years. The spoons do not bend like some of the cheaper ones. Make the ice cream test! This set is modern and looks great on the dinner table for any informal or formal affair.
