Summary: Roomba Battery is worthless, It only last about a year or more
Comment: The battery is horriable on the Roomba. I have a hard time believing that they can't fix this problem. I bought my Roomba at Hammacher. I wish that everybody that is looking at this message bought their's at Hammacher. Hammacher has a life time guarantee. Everytime my battery goes dead, I send my Roomba back to Hammacher and get a new Roomba. In the past 4 or 5 years, I have send four Roomba back and had them replaced. I've actually upgraded my Roomba everytime to the last and greatest Roomba that they have. I currently own the Roomba Scheduler. And despite the problems with the battery,I love my Roomba, but do hate the battery. It beginning to appear that my battery is dead again, time for another Roomba upgrade.

Comment: Worked perfectly after a 24 hour charge with the unit plugged in- not on the platform. Charging with the AC allows for a little over 2 hours of use- whereas on the docking base- about an hour.
